Ulrike Franz and Jay Miller represented CASA at “Girls in Aviation” sponsored by Women in Aviation International. The event was held at the Southern Museum of Flight in Birmingham Saturday September 23rd.

Ulie and Jay were able to visit with the 66 attendees in addition to parents and professional and general aviation women pilots.

SSA provided excellent support with giveaways – i.e. copies of Soaring Magazine featuring Sarah Arnold, literature on Soaring and pens.

CASA gave away 5 T-shirts and a Fast Pass.

We hope several of the women pilots we spoke with will make good on their promise to visit us and take a ride.

We were assured by the event organizers that we would receive an invite next year.
