Central Alabama Soaring Association welcomes those who have the desire to experience the joy of flying in a glider as well as meeting members of our club. We perform flight operations on Saturdays when weather permits. Please use the Contact page to learn more about this opportunity. One of our instructors or commercial rated glider pilots will contact you to schedule your flight.
All passengers are required to fill out a liability waiver form. For all passengers under 18, they will be required to have a guardian onsite and the guardian will need to sign the liability waiver as well. The form is available on-site.
The glider ride consists of a tow to approximately 3000′ MSL, and if there is plenty of lift, the flight will last approximately 30 minutes. The fee for the flight is $100.
