The event was held at the Southern Museum of Flight in Birmingham Saturday September 23rd.<\/p>\n<p>Ulie and Jay were able to visit with the 66 attendees in addition to parents and professional and general aviation women pilots.<\/p>\n<p>SSA provided excellent support with giveaways &#8211; i.e. copies of Soaring Magazine featuring Sarah Arnold, literature on Soaring and pens.<\/p>\n<p>CASA gave away 5 T-shirts and a Fast Pass.<\/p>\n<p>We hope several of the women pilots we spoke with will make good on their promise to visit us and take a ride.<\/p>\n<p>We were assured by the event organizers that we would receive an invite next year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Ulrike Franz and Jay Miller represented CASA at &#8220;Girls in Aviation&#8221; sponsored by Women in Aviation International.
